Does anyone know if the case saver will still fit if i go to a 14 in the front?

I've heard other say it will fit, but it rubs. You might be able to hog out the case saver a bit and make it happen.

You can achieve the same result by changing the rear sprocket size. That way you are assured your case is saved!

So would I go down to like a 38 to get the same results?

Definitely a NO GO on a 14 tooth front sprocket. You can actually bolt it all up and think you are good, but under load, the chain WILL rub excessively on the case saver and wear it down to nothing.

My machine came with a 14 tooth in front, and when I purchased my first case saver and installed it, the saver was worn down to almost nothing within 10 minutes.

I got the 14 tooth, It works good. I just did a little griding on the case saver, not too much though
