I have a 86 350x and when I kick start it goes down easy the first time,but when i go to kick start it down again it's really hard to push the down on it. its not like the 2 stroke where its easy to start this really hard to start.is it suppose to start really hard

Check your decompression cable - I blew out my boot trying to kick mine over before i knew what the problem was .

While you're there , check out your decomp valve as well . Make sure it works freely and isn't sticky or stuck

Also, make sure you are allowing the decompression to engage, let that kicker all the way back up.

it goes down easy but when it gets to top dead center its hell trying to get it to go back down

Yes. Im going to have to agree with the rest.

Decompression cable.

They are available on eBay or other online stores. Not expensive.
