The past few days I've been really looking into these things and I found out they are being made AGAIN!! They are called the Coot2. It's now using a hydrostatic drive system instead of mechanical!! Pretty freakin SA WHEAT!!

The articulation is pretty cool. I'd like to find an M274 Mule, similar but not articulated.

It's kinda sorta like the mule but I always thought the seating on the mule was strange. From what I read the Coot is also amphibious. The restored 69 Coot I saw on eBay had a propeller on it! Im not sure if that was a custom job because I have not seen a propeller on other Coots.

TWG. The Coot wasn't made to be a speed demon. It's a work horse. It will not go faster than 20mph. If you are looking for a virtually unstoppable ATV that can haul 1000+ lbs then the Coot is your ATV. If you want to shred some trails and hit big jumps you will have to stick to sport quads (or trikes).
